To Team & Private Lesson families,
After careful consideration of safe options during the pandemic, and with the County’s help & guidance, we are confident to resume Team and private lessons on Nov. 30. We remain in constant communication with the NV County Health Dept. The County is comfortable with all the safety and mitigation protocols in the gym. Thus far and with your help, we are grateful to have been COVID-free.
Things we’re doing now:
✅ Only Team & Private lessons. No rec classes. Gym traffic reduced by 90+%
✅ Private lessons: now limited to the same household members only
✅ Distancing: increase to 7+’ social distancing
✅ Spotting: decrease to zero; spot only if safety requires
✅ Masking: 100% unless drinking water or need a breathing break.
✅ Food: none in the gym.
✅ Earlier times: in/out of gym sooner during distance learning.
✅ Bins: now larger w/handles to accommodate winter items like coats.
✅ Strict compliance required. Please review w/your child so they know. Rules are not just when they feel like it. This is a privilege. It’s their responsibility to comply with all the protocols to continue to practice in the gym.
Our staff continues to maintain standards to keep children and staff as safe as possible. Coaches wear masks inside. High volume commercial fans, hospital grade air scrubbing & purification units with UV lights positioned throughout the spaces for an added layer of safety. Distance markers provide visual cues. Along with temp & health check-ins, hand washing & sanitizer, high touch surface cleaning, cordoned off cubbies to minimize close contact, and extra face coverings for purchase, we continue to provide exceptional customer safety and service to our community.
A few of reminders:
?♀️ Do not come if sick.
?♂️ TEAM: Notify us if you’ll be absent
?♀️ Bring your own water bottle & hand sanitizer
?♂️ Keep personal items to bare minimum
?♀️ Arrive dressed & ready for practice
?♂️ Keep your distance. Friends stay apart for everyone’s safety
?♀️ Masks required
?♂️ Staff & gymnasts only in gym (no parents except private lessons)
PRO SHOP is open. Purchase fun holiday gifts for your gymnast (leos, jackets, shorts, capris, backpacks, baggage tags, jewelry, scrunchies, gift cards).
A huge shout out to the coaches who continue this invaluable service for our community in a safe way. We are thankful for YOU. While we have made these changes to keep our families & staff healthy, you will see that our fun & knowledgeable coaching style and friendly environment has not changed! The staff is happy to offer some normalcy, social connection, and physical activity during this challenging time especially since schools returned to distance learning. We are ready to help your gymnast reach their goals, learn new skills, and gain self-confidence.
Be well. See you soon.
